Minecraft 1.12.1 is another update for Java Edition. The point of this update is to change some game credits, splashes, and fix some issues from the other versions.

About Minecraft 1.12.1 Java Edition

In Minecraft 1.12.1 free download, you will check out some changes for general and splash content, with several fixes for the issues from other Minecraft versions. Minecraft 1.12.1 was an update for Minecraft Java Edition and was rolled on August 3rd, 2016. It does not fit 1.12 servers, so make sure you will not run this version on the servers of the previous version.

There are some changes made to the game credits and splashes in Minecraft 1.12.2 Java Edition. Specifically, the game credits were updated to contain more Mojang staff, and the credits scroll 50% faster when being viewed straightly from the menu screen than through the End Poem. For the splashes, there is no “Better than Prey” anymore. Also, there are 4 issues fixed, three of them were from released versions before 1.12.1 and the last one was the private issue. In the versions before 1.12.1, there was a fix made to an issue in which some Mojang staff were not mentioned in credits.txt, a fix made to solve Class.getSimpleame performance issue that had a large number of block entities, and a fix made to an issue in which diamonds were transferred into crafting slots on any chat message. There was also a fix to a security issue with the recipe book. That’s all for Minecraft 1.12.1!
